I'm going to Spring Quilt Market in SLC

Hi everyone,

I’m going to be leaving on May 3rd to attend the bi-annual quilt market in Salt Lake City! This is a show for trade, not consumers. All quilt stores or anyone who sells quilting and quilt related items attends this show! I’m looking forward to all of the classes, vendors, displays, and visiting all of my friends at the trade show! My Quilted Bags and Totes book will be displayed in the Walnut Hollow booth, as well as the Krause Publicationsbooth, my publisher. Brewers Sewing Supplies will be selling my 6 booklets, they are available on their website, NOW.

This is one of the shows I look forward to most! I love going to the schoolhouses and have taught a few of them. One of the other highlights is going to the sample spree, the night before the show opens. This is where the vendors sell product at reduced prices as a sampling of their merchandise. Always so much fun to see quilters RUN to the Moda tables! And Moda is usually in the back. Luckily, I have an exhibitor badge and we can go in early to shop. :O)

When I return, I’ll give a report of the show! look for news on trends and new patterns!

happy quilting! Denise
