Long Beach Quilt Festival

I spent a wonderful three days at the Long Beach Quilt Festival with my sister and daughter! Talk about a bonding weekend! My sister and I went to the Chicago Festival last year and had a blast and we vowed to go again! This one was not a disappointment!

The first evening we attended the Shopping Spree! ...And what fun that was...it was a preview shopping event, with fewer shoppers, so we enjoyed looking around as if we were VIP's! And we spent some money...needless to say. This show was about 1/2 the size of the Chicago show, but still we had plenty of eye candy to keep our eyes busy!

One of our favorite booths was Primitive Gatherings Quilt Shop! We LOVED the vintage colors, patterns, wool and threads inside of the booth! And the booth was one of our favorites! here's a sample of how their booth looks, so much fun!

I fell in love with these cute 19 Cents table decorations. Made from wool!

Another great project from their designs! This cute little wallhanging made from fabric and wool.

so sorry this is blurry, it is another great example of a beautiful quilt, love the pinwheels and colors!

My daughter feel in love with this wallhanging, little teeny, tiny flowers and blocks!

Another favorite of my daughter! black and tan stars!

All of these patterns can be purchased on their site, Primitive Gatherings!

Check back, I'll post more fun and photos from our trip to Long Beach Quilt Festival!

Happy Quilting,
Denise
