Craftsy FLASH sale~ 48 hrs only, up to 63% off

Hi Everyone!

Have I told you how MUCH I love Craftsy!? It has become a community of classes, products, patterns, free classes, communication, posting and talking to teachers! and MORE!

This weekend only, Craftsy is having a flash sale! Save up to 63% for 48 hours.  This sale starts on Saturday, October 12 and expires October 13, 2013 at midnight MDT. Once you BUY a class it goes into your Classes folder and STAYS there forever! Watch it over and over! Even the FREE classes! (did I tell you how much I love this?)

I have purchased several classes, which says a lot about Craftsy! Because, I don't typically "buy" online classes.

Here are a few that I've purchased:

I absolutely LOVE this class SIMPLE FRESH QUILTS by Joanna Figuereo! She shares 7 different patterns and carefully shows you each step. You also get a PDF of each pattern and instructions to sew along with her! I watch, pause, and get the step done, then watch more! I feel like I'm taking a class at a retreat! (without, the snacks....sadly, hehe...) wait, I can bring my own snacks! and so can you! Grab a cuppa tea and biscuits and have fun! Be sure to use the Mug Rug pattern, available in The Quilter Magazine Holiday 2013 issue.

I asked Joanna, if we got all of 7 videos and she said, YES! That SOLD me! Here are the 7 videos:
  • Starting the Spool Block Quilt
  • Finishing the Spool Block Quilt
  • The Wheels Block
  • The Lifesavers Block
  • Small Lollipops
  • Large Lollipops
  • Batting, Quilting and Binding

I also LOVE the RE-PIECING THE PAST class by Kaye England (civil war quilts). I am so impressed with the quality of each of these videos. I feel like I'm right in their sewing room along with them. Kaye is very explicit with her instructions, as is Joanna! And I like that, especially good for those who want to learn to quilt. Kaye goes over all of her basics on how she does all of her quilting!
Here are 10 different videos you get with this class:
  • Introduction
  • Supplies
  • Remember Me & Sherman's March
  • Birds in the Air Block
  • Flying Geese
  • Union and Southern Pride
  • Harriet Beecher Stowe Block
  • Shiloh Block
  • Julia Ward Howe Block
  • Setting the Quilt

I also "downloaded" some of their FREE classes! And they are just as awesome! The Craftsy Block of the Month for 2012 has 17 block videos! You'll NEVER "want" for anything else to do, but learn. Link to Craftsy Block of the Month 2013. Here they are:
  • Welcome to Your FREE Mini-Class
  • Introduction

Here is another FREE class, above, that I took on how to Master Zipper Techniques. Even though I've been sewing clothes and bags forever, I still like to know more about zipper installation! There are new techniques now! Here is a photo of one of them.

Notice the little black/white polka dot at the end of the zipper? This little piece of fabric helps make your bags more square at the corners! Little tips like this make me look like a pro!
Here are the classes from the Zipper class:
  • Welcome to Your Free Mini-Class
  • Introduction
  • Slot Seam Zipper Insertion
  • Invisible Zipper Insertion
  • Zippers in Lined & Faced Garments
  • Lapped Zipper Insertion

Sew, and I mean SEW!
