Getting Ready for Fall Quilt Market 2013

Hi Everyone!

I'm getting ready for Fall Quilt Market 2013! I've been planning things in my head, as well as, shopping, getting my hair lightened, etc. I do wait for THE week of, to put clothes together, clean up my portfolio, plan what I'm going to take, etc.

Each year they design a new "pin." The above pin is so pretty!! It would be fun to design all of the pins in Electric Quilt 7 (EQ7) and make a quilt out of them. I'm sure someone has done this, I just thought of it.

I go to market to network with quilt magazines, quilt/sew manufacturers, quilt/sew book publishers, to increase my business.

I also go to see what is new in the industry, like fabric, notions, books, magazines, etc. And there is always something new, especially at the Fall Market!

I get so pumped up when I go and I'm so excited to start on new projects when I get home. I will share my trip with I get back, just like I did with the Sewing Summit 2013! I'm hoping to get some work with a few magazines and I would like to pitch a new book idea that I have. We'll see, Wish me LUCK!

Tell me what type of book you are interested in and one that you haven't seen before, I may put an idea together! Here is a link to the books I've written so far. I'm having a big sale/DEAL on the booklets!

Okay, Now to get back to work! Thanks for your comments!
