Denise Clason has been a designer for a very long time, since before she was 10 years old, she was designing her own doll clothes and ever since then she knew that she would be working and designing with fabric the rest of her life.
At the age of 16, Denise had her own sewing and alterations business. She enjoyed sewing for others. Which included men's shirts, slacks, suits, wedding and bridesmaids dresses.
Denise branched out later on and started quilting and is, now, a licensed and published author. Her books and booklets are available on this blog, as well as Krause (wholesale orders), and many other places online. She has been an author since 1995. Denise created and licensed her own quilt and fruit button design's, called "Stitchin' up the Pieces" licensed by JHB International.
Denise had a new book released in 2011, called, Sewing Vintage Aprons, available on this blog or All American Crafts (wholesale orders) or many places online. If you are a lover of all things apron, you'll want to have this book.
